We are an electronics company that offers design, manufacturing, and distribution services to facilitate successful electronic and IoT-enabled innovation.
Our business model operates as a Design-Thinking Partnership, collaborating with relevant entrepreneurial partners from around the globe.
On site, we have a production floor that manufacture and distributes electronics, while our design office has experitise in all aspects of the design process.

Design for Manufacturing
A design partner that is integrated with manufacturing will help to minimize risks in time-to-market and cost, as well as eliminating finger-pointing when issues occur.
Our product design and development services fully complement our manufacturing solutions strategy, and we bring value to the product development process by being involved at every stage of the design cycle.
Design for Reliability
Design for Reliability (DFR) is a systematic, controlled, concurrent engineering programme that supports product and process design from concept through to product obsolescence. It ensures that customer expectations for reliability are fully met throughout the life of the product, and aims to achieve the lowest possible overall lifecycle costs. Our approach relies on an array of reliability engineering tools along with a full understanding of when and how to use these tools during the design cycle.
Full Turnkey Service
We can provide help with product design (including electronics, mechanical and finished product ‘look and feel’), PCB layout, PCB assembly and complete product assembly, packaging and shipment to your distribution network.
While we offer Full Turnkey Service, we are also happy to provide any of the steps as a stand-alone service. Many customers indeed prefer to provide kits of material for PCB and/or mechanical assembly, and seek only labour input from CW Applied Technology.
Lean Manufacturing
Traditional lean tends to be technical and complex. We have taken a different approach, with transformative effects on both our business and that of our customers. The approach we’ve taken is one championed by Paul Akers in his book ‘2 Second Lean’. Some examples of how we implement 2 Second Lean:
- We use 3S rather than 5S or 7S as a cornerstone of our approach.
- Every employee in our company makes a 2-second improvement every single day.
agile manufacturing
- Low volume, short series production with mass production quality. Typical order sizes in this phase are in the 10pc to 1000pc range. Scaling to high volume if and as required.
- Efficient, Lean and Agile Manufacturing service, taking concept through to manufacture.
- Design-Thinking concepts applied to Manufacturing. Improving manufacturability and cost.
- Cost-effective ‘craftsman-type’ manufacturing solutions. Tailored solution for bespoke solution seekers.
- Making Local – cutting logistics costs with shorter lead and cycle times and parts made to order.
Advanced Creative design

Disruptive Manufacturing
We are at the forefront of disrupting the manufacturing process, building a flexible digital manufacturing process that’s capable of producing mass-production quality in batch sizes of one. Leveraging smart digital manufacturing, novel materials and advances in 3D printing, our team enables custom tailored products that can be rapidly manufactured at our site and customised for specific needs.
